Gather Here with Thankful Hearts and Cartoon Me is adorable!!

Let's talk about this beautiful sign that I made!! I am still amazed every time complete a project. Not including the wood board this project took me less than 10 minutes!! Chalk Couture has truly made it possible to craft in no time at all.

This project was made on a wood board cut down to 11 x 12, sanded, painted and stained. I used the Gather here with Thankful Hearts  and the Fall Leaves silk-screen chalk transfers.

I wanted this to scream Fall so I chose all the Fall colored Chalkology Pastes. When I pulled off the transfer I sprinkled fine gold glitter on the word "hearts". This needs to be done while the chalk paste is still wet in order to stick. Once all was dried I sprayed it with a spray varnish. This was made as a gift for my friends birthday. Here is another project I made using that same transfer but with a more neutral look to it.

You can check out a quick 60 second video showing me make both these project at the links on the side.

Did you notice that cute avatar on my pictures? If you are a Bitmoji fan then you are going to be a fan of these adorable Avatars that Omar Toro creates. I never thought I would choose to have a custom avatar made until I saw my Chalk Couture sponsor's. It is adorable and a great way to brand/watermark your images. It was an easy and fun process as well. I sent a couple of pictures to Omar and he took it from there. As he sketched and colored he communicated with me and made any tweaks needed.

I am thrilled with how it came out and am I considering having a life size one printed up. Okay, not really but man would that be cool!
